VAMono: Virtual Analog Monophonic Synthesizer Review
VAMono is a virtual analog monophonic synthesizer that draws inspiration from the iconic monophonic analog synthesizers of the 80s. Featuring versatile oscillators capable of a wide range of modulation options, this synthesizer allows users to shape sound before filtering. Modulate pitch, shape, and pulse width with LFO and ADSR envelope, while Xmod and Ring modulation provide audio rate modulation. The characteristic sync sound is achieved through Hard Sync, while the filter and amplifier sections deliver the classic analog synthesizer sound of the 80s. Additionally, the amp section offers amplitude modulation, distortion, and delay effects. VAMono includes a built-in 64-step sequencer for sequencing notes and parameters, and can function as an AudioUnit Extension (AUv3) or standalone. Standalone mode supports Ableton Link, Bluetooth MIDI, and MIDI IN/OUT.
